The Palmolive Building fuses technology with luxury living as never before seen. This 1929 architectural landmark is literally a century ahead of its time with a wiring backbone far beyond anything the original engineers could have possibly imagined.

Two dedicated T1 lines deliver high speed Internet access to the building, delivering service to each residence through an Ethernet connection, and the entire building is capable of accommodating HDTV via satellite, regular satellite television, or cable, with the choice of service being left to each individual resident.

Every home is pre-wired to support computer networking and a digital phone system, with Category 5E and coaxial cable jacks in each main room of the home, and the building system will be able to accommodate Voiceover IP as the technology becomes more widely used and available. The building’s Ethernet backbone also connects each residence via an optional touch panel to the Palmolive Building’s services; the concierge, management, the engineer, and door staff can all be instantaneously contacted through a single device. Also within the touch screen’s capacity is the ability to control climate zones throughout the residence.

The Palmolive Building’s Technology Team can integrate upgraded smart-home features and customized technology design services. Custom designs based on your lifestyle can be implemented, including home theater systems, automated lighting/shade control, and a plethora of other smart home features.
